Coolest Pumpkins In The Patch! by Becki Adams

Coolest Pumpkins In The Patch! by Becki Adams

Hello Simple Stories friends, Becki here, to share a SN@P! Flipbook with you that I created using the Spooky Nights collection. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and Halloween 2020 was a holiday that I don’t want to forget! I couldn’t resist making a 4x6 flipbook to document all the details of our family memories from Halloween 2020.

I started with the 4x6 SN@P Speckle Dots Flipbook. It coordinates perfectly with the Spooky Nights collection. To create the cover, I simply used an orange patterned paper, a couple of die cuts and a foam sticker title. Easy peasy!! I couldn’t resist adding a big black and white plaid bow. I LOVE adding bows to the covers of my flipbooks (I added a fun bow to THIS flipbook too). It’s such a fun way to add texture and dimension to the album.

On the first page of the album I created a fun scene across the inside cover and the first page.  On the first page, I created a flip-up with a 3x4 photo and journaling underneath. I added some fun texture with  grey pom pom trim along the bottom of the flip-up.

I love using 6x8 paper pads when I create a flipbook. The smaller scale patterns and cut-apart cards are perfect! I used two 3x4 cards to create a flip-up on these pages. I had to create a space for all three photos and some journaling on these pages. These photos of my nephew at the pumpkin patch are priceless!

If you haven’t noticed, my favorite way to include more photos is to add flip-ups. That’s exactly what I did here. I also tucked tags (fussy cut from the tag patterned paper) throughout the album with more personal journaling. On the photo with the jack-o-lanterns, I added a chipboard banner. It’s fun to add embellishments on top of photos. If you’re worried about ruining your photos, simply add them on top of the page protectors.

A Halloween album wouldn’t be complete without photos of the kids in costumes. I had a proud momma moment when my teenagers dressed up with their younger cousins even though they really didn’t want to! These memories are priceless to me and our family. The Spooky Nights collection is the only collection you’ll need to document all your Halloween memories. The products are SO easy to use and the beautiful artwork is classic and adorable!!

Thank you for stopping by the Simple Stories blog. Make sure to get your hands on the Spooky Nights collection. I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I do!

Happy scrapping my friends!
