Hello Simple Stories friends, Becki here to share a fun Sunkissed Flipbook. I started with a black 4x6 Sn@p flipbook and a few things from the Sunkissed collection. If you haven’t ordered this collection, what are you waiting for??? It’s AMAZING and a must have for Summer.
The cover of this album is simple but makes a bold statement. I used the “summer” die cut from the Summer Vibes page pieces. I LOVE the large die cuts in the page pieces.
On the inside cover I added the date with yellow Color Vibe foam stickers. As the Summer of 2021 goes on, I will add photos and journaling to this album. On the first page, I will add a 3x2 photo.
The next page will have three 2x3 photos with a 3x4 journaling card. Along the right edge of the page protector, I stitched a red felt scalloped trim. I added tons of texture on this page with stitching, brads, chipboard, and enamel dots.
Layering the bright colored papers from the 6x8 paper pad will make my photo pop off the left page. The brads added the perfect touch of dimension and texture.
The cut a part card patterned papers make creating with a Sn@p Flipbook a breeze. On the navy “shine bright” 4x6 card all I added was one die cut, a chipboard sun and a little hand stitching.
If you fold a 6x8 piece of patterned paper in half, you’ll have the perfect interactive element. On the top flap I wanted a bold title. The “Sunny Days” die cut was the perfect solution. The enamel dots add the perfect amount of texture and color.Along the bottom of the flap, I added some teal pom-pom trim to create some texture.
The navy rainbow border is washi tape. To make the design stand out against the red background paper, I placed the tape on a piece of white cardstock before adding it to the page.
Fussy cutting tags and a 3x4 card made the next two pages quick and easy. Chipboard, enamel dots, and stickers make these pages pop.
I cannot wait to add photos of our Summer adventures to this fun Sunkissed flip book. What are you creating with the new Sunkissed collection? I’d love to see what you’re creating.
Thank you for stopping by the Simple Stories blog. I’ll be back again soon with even more inspiration with Simple Stories products. Happy crafting!
