Hi ladies! Cristina here, this is the last project of this year as a Simple Stories dt member. I would love to say thank you to all of you who followed me and supported me during the year. It was such a great year working with these wonderful products, and I am very grateful for having had this opportunity staying with you all the time.
Today I’m showing you a very simple mini album to do, especially easy when you have few photos to add. The album measures 5x7.5 inches and I used the beautiful safe travels collection which suited the Irish travel theme perfectly.
I covered a chipboard piece using one of the patterned paper that is part of the collection kit. This is the back part of the mini book on which I then inserted some strips of paper folded on themselves with which I created the various inner pages.
To create some movement I inserted a flap to make the cover moving it up and down to open and close the mini book.
On the front of the cover I created a pocket to insert a tag and I used the same pink paper with white lines also for the upper flap. I loved the contrast between the two green and pink colors.
Inside there are two strips of patterned paper and inside other sheets inserted under the photos and cascaded.
I used many of the embellishments like chipboard and foam stickers, adhesive brads and enamel dots to add round elements, labels and die-cuts to create each composition, and added tiny designs with the puffy stickers. Those are my favorite!
I hope you like my project as much as I love doing it! I invite you to leave a comment to tell me what you think and your own interpretations.
Thanks for stopping by.
