Hello Simple Stories friends! Karlla here and I'm so happy to share a new layout with you! Celebrating the lives of those we love is a blessing, watching my son grow makes my heart warm with love.
Pietro is three years old and creating this layout made me very happy. With his 3rd birthday, I see how fast time passes.
For this layout, I wanted to bring my son's three birthday celebrations. For this, I created 3 squares diagonally and each one decorated separately.
I loved this sketch style.
I love all the papers in the collections, but the "Tags" are my favorites. I love tags and showing how we can play with them!
The tags were the choices for the base of my photos, each one positioned in a different way.
If you follow my work, you've already noticed how I LOVE foam tape. I love dimension and this tape helps me in this game. Underneath these squares, I brought several decoration elements from the Celebrate! collection. "Bits & Pieces, Chipboard, Foam Stickers...they are awesome. When I put them on my desk to get to work, I get lost in my mind full of ideas LOL.
Let's play more with our Wahi Tapes! They are just beautiful and I put them in my layout as the basis for the phrase "You're the best reason to celebrate".
This phrase is in the "Sticker Book", my newest love of the brand.
"Number Bits" helped me sort and number each birthday. To finish this diagonal sketch, I added some stars from "Foam Stickers" and "Decorative Brads".
This mix of embellishments turned out so beautiful.
