Hello friends, it’s @vickiscraps here today to share a layout using the beautiful Simple Vintage Love Story collection. I’m a firm believer that you don’t need vintage photos to use a vintage collection and I’ve used some really cute snapshots of my nieces.
I started by cutting a heart from the centre of the ‘Rouge’ paper from the Basics kit and then distressing the edges to add some texture.
I added the ‘3x4 Elements’ paper behind it focusing on the reverse side of that paper with the beautiful stripes - I just love how it adds to the texture feel I was going for.
My photos are super cute, so I wanted to put them centre stage and surround them with the beautiful embellishments that are in this collection - I used the chipboard stickers, bits & pieces and foam stickers as well as enamel dots.
This large camera chipboard piece was just perfect for a snapshot photo. I added a decorative brad to the centre to make it more dimensional.
