It's Nathalie with you today to share fresh inspiration featuring the gorgeous SIMPLE VINTAGE LAVENDER FIELDS. This collection showcases a soft color palette, amazing icons, and well-crafted designs that will make your crafting so enjoyable. Let me show you what I have created
I wanted to showcase the different patterned papers with a large photo in my layout. Layering pieces of patterned paper below the photo is a way to highlight it while creating interest on the page with just a few pieces of paper.
The soft design in the Lavender Skies paper was a starting point for this page. Then, I made use of the 6x8 paper pad to create the layers behind the photo. Starting with a large piece to frame the photo, and a larger one to anchor it to the background. Then it was all about cutting and mixing paper layers in a cascading mode - making sure the patterns are spread out and repeat in the layers.
The position of the photo and layers on the background automatically give you spaces for embellishing. I decided to zig zag them down the page starting at the top right corner of the photo. I focus on bringing a romantic touch to the clusters with floral icons
I added my title just below the photo using pieces from the foam stickers. I added another cluster to the bottom left corner of the photo. Using pieces from the rub-ons, I was able to extend the clusters and make them part of the background.
To finish my page, I added one last cluster at the bottom right corner of the paper layers. Once again, I am using pieces from the Rub-ons to add sentiments to the bottom of the paper layers. A few enamel dots were scattered between the layers complete the spread.
