Winter Wonderland
Hi Friends, It’s Dorymar today sharing a lovely Winter album featuring the adorable Simple Vintage Winter Woods Collection. The color palette of this collection blows me away, I adore the mix of pastel colors with wood. Let’s take a look!
I used the Robbin Egg 6x8 Flipbook to create my project.
On the cover I used my favorite patterns of the collection to create the background. On top I created a cluster and my titles using die cuts from the ephemera and simple pages page pieces. Then, I added twine and enamels dots for a finishing touch.
In all my projects I love having space for many photos, for this, I use the 6x8 pages and my personal inserts. In the insert on the right, I created a pocket at the top to add journal and more photos. The I decorated by creating some clusters with the fantastic elements included in the collection.
Inside the interactive, I layered the background with patterned papers of the collection. On this inserts page you have space for more pictures and journal. I adore playing with the die cut to create a cute look to my pages. This collection is gorgeous!
I love to customize my 3x4 and 4x6 cards by creating pockets, adding inserts, and decorating with the stickers, die cuts and beautiful the collection includes. It is fun to see what you could create by just adding a few supplies together.
Using many layers is one of the techniques that I enjoy the most, I love matching patterns to create my layouts. Simple Stories collections always offer you fun patterns and colors that make this technique so much easier. If you look at my spreads, you can see how I use different pieces of paper to create my layouts and the scraps pieces I always use them in my pocket pages. It's so fun put them together!
One of my favorite elements in this collection is the Woodland Bits and Pieces, the package includes many beautiful branches, birds and deer, and rustic snowflakes. After creating my backgrounds decorating with the die cuts included in this pack was fantastic just adding them the pages and cards looked awesome!

HI! I absolutely LOVE what you’ve done with this collection! I am wondering however, did you take out almost all of the plastic inserts and make new paper inserts by punching holes in designer paper>
Also, did you cover the metal hinge piece with paper? any help would be appreciated as i too adore this collection! thank you!
Lovely color pallett. the flip book allows a lot of room for photos and showcasing the elements. Nicely done.
