It's Nathalie with you today to share inspiration featuring the beautiful Simple Vintage Flannel Season collection. It is perfect to document your winter memories, especially the ones of snowy days with beautiful colors, fun designs, and a vintage vibe. Let's take a look at the project
I was automatically drawn to the Chipboard frames in this collection, and wanted to make them the highlight of the spread, that meant setting them right on the center of the page, and manipulate them to fit my page and idea
I started by building my background by combining pieces from the Ready, Set, Snow and Stayin' Cozy papers, I used the scalloped sticker border to cover the seam of the papers. Then, I back one of the largest frames with my photo. Then I trimmed one of the double frames into separate frames as I wanted to use them as supporting (and repetitive) elements for the large photo.
I used papers from the 6x8 paper pad to back the smaller frames and set them on jaunty angles to the left and right of the large frame. I made sure that the large frame was propped with foam adhesive to make it more prominent on the page.
I decided to repeat the same time of embellishment to each of the frames; so, I pulled pieces from the Floral Ephemera pack and added them to the corners of the frames. I added a small sentiment in the center of each of the frames to help the feel of the layout.
To finish I mix pieces from the foam adhesives, chipboard stickers, and other embellishments to create a title below the large photo frame. I added a few extra stickers around the title and the top left corner of the large frame. A few enamel dots complete the spread.
