Hello friends! It’s Dorymar today sharing a cute project featuring the new Simple Stories collection “What’s Cookin’?”. This collection got my heart when I saw it. I fell in love instantly! All the beautiful icons are so cute. So, I decided to create a cute project.
I created and designed this project a few years ago, but this time I improved it. Let’s take a look!
This project is a stove with a beautiful 6x8 album, a box for recipe cards, and a small one-page mini album in the bottom drawer.
The measurement of the stove is 9.75”x 4.5”x 6”, including the backsplash of the furnace. The back album holder measurements are 2” x 6”x 2.75”. I used the 6” x 8” Robbin Egg Flipbook as an album, which I reduced to 5.5” x 8”.
I used the Blush Color Vibe cardstock as a base to create my page dividers. Then, I added a beautiful interactive element to create a fun project with many attractive features. This album is made to add all the lovely memories with your family and friends, enjoying the family traditions and recipes.
The left page includes a flap with a belly band on top and has space to add four photos and a gorgeous tag to add the journaling. The pocket page on the right side was reduced to 4.5” to fit the album covers.
Inside look!
The page on the left side is a 4x6 Flipbook pocket page reduced to 5.5”. I filled the beautiful 4x4 cards from the 2x2/4x4 patterned paper. The page on the right side is a lateral pocket with a few beautiful inserts to add photos and journaling. I decorated it with fantastic die cuts that the collection includes.
I love pockets! This album is not the exception to creating a few to add a lot of space for my memorabilia. Also, I love to include the tags, and Simple Stores offers you in each collection one page with the 15 cutest tags you have ever seen.
The page on the right is another page divider. It includes a double flap with a front pocket! It’s freakin’ cute!
