Hi and thanks for stopping by! Today I’m sharing EIGHT cards made with the Simple Stories Feelin’ Frosty Collection! This collection is a total celebration of winter! Seriously, I can’t look at this collection without breaking out in a huge smile and I’m pretty sure that you will too!
Feelin’ Frosty is loaded with images of snowmen, winter gear and the cutest critters ever. I love the accessories that you can pair up with the images to create scenes and bring the different figures to life.
Snowmen can go sledding and hold coffee cups in a wilderness surrounded by pine trees and falling frosty flakes.
Journaling Bits and Pieces as well as the 12” sheet of Elements are perfect for creating foundations for focal points on your cards. I like to layer on images like the snowmen and critters and then embellish with smaller accent pieces and sentiments.
The 12” sticker sheet included in the collection kit is loaded with even more images and loads of sentiments. Sometimes it’s hard to decide where to place the sticker without it getting stuck on something. To take away the tacky background and use it more like a printed die cut bits and pieces element I apply baby powder to the back of the sticker. Now I can experiment with placement and then use glue to adhere it in place when I’m ready.
If you’re a fan of washi (I know I am!!!!) you’ll love the new packaging that keeps the rolls in place in a clear plastic box and SCORE!!! Now there are FIVE rolls in different widths to choose from!
Oh.. did I forget to mention that there are pretty FLOWERS in this collection! You’ll find pretty blooms in pinks and blues as well as leafy greens and holly and berries too!
I love that all of the elements in the collection are color coordinated and match perfectly. And.. if you like to add some solid cardstock to your designs then you’ll be happy to know that the Color Vibe cardstock in Pool, Flamingo, Peony, Sky, Lilac, Midnight and Black are going to look amazing together with the Feelin’ Frost prints.
So are you smiling yet? I Knew you would! Have fun making and celebrate the simple things like having fun on a snowy day!
