Hello fellow crafters! It’s @vickiscraps here today to share a layout I’ve made using the beautiful Harvest Market collection. I love fall collections and I particularly love orange, so this one has my heart! I wanted to create a harvest wreath with a twist for this layout.
I started by cutting the little square food packaging icons out of the Market Day paper - they are super cute and really great for a fall wreath layout. I distressed the edges of each and arranged a set in a circle on my page.
I used my sewing machine to stitch a double circle to hold the squares in place before lifting the edges of them a little to add dimension to the page.
I added some extra distressed squares on top of the wreath along with my slightly larger square photos - both on foam to add even more dimension.
I added lots of other embellishments including chipboard, foam stickers, bits & pieces, brads and enamel dots to really give that full wreath feeling. I also did some splatters in gold to add a bit of sparkle.
I hope my layout inspires you to try making an alternative wreath for your layout - I think it would be great to try a mini version for a card too.
