Hello friends, it’s @vickiscraps today to share a layout using the fabulous Simple Vintage October 31st collection. I love making Halloween layouts and this collection gives a wonderful traditional feel for Halloween.
I started by cutting out a pumpkin shape from the Boo To You paper and distressing the edges. I added some hazy ink around the shape of the pumpkin before sticking down on foam for added dimension.
I then cut a stalk for my pumpkin from a paper in the 6x8 paper pad which had tone on tone cobwebs on - I also raised this on some foam before sticking down.
I cut my photo so that I just had my niece’s head and hat to peek from behind one of the chipboard frames - she really does make a cute witch!
I then layered lots of chipboard, foam stickers, bits & pieces and brads around the frame and at the base of the stalk of the pumpkin.
I particularly love the vintage pieces that are so whimsical and really add tradition to the page.
I really love how this came together and I hope it gives you some inspiration for scrapping your Halloween photos. I will definitely be using this collection lots this year! You can see my process video to see how this came together and how I cut the pumpkin here: https://youtu.be/4N7_0UR0SgQ
Thank you so much for looking, Vicki xx
