Hello friends, it’s @vickiscraps here today sharing a new layout featuring the absolutely beautiful Simple Vintage Timeless Harmony collection. This collection completely stole my heart with its soft vintage tones, delicate florals, muted greens, and timeless embellishments — perfect for documenting special memories like these wedding photos.
For this layout, I wanted to create something soft, layered, and elegant while still keeping the focus on the photographs. I started with a white cardstock background and added a subtle hand-drawn border line around the edges to frame the page without overpowering the design. I love how this simple detail gives the layout a finished look. The foundation of my page was created using horizontal strips of patterned paper layered across the layout. I chose a mix of soft green, vintage floral, and dark patterned papers to create contrast while still keeping that beautiful, timeless feel. One of my favourite details is the matching hand-cut letters at the end of each strip to subtly spell out the word “LOVE.” I love how this detail draws your eye down the page and ties in perfectly with the wedding theme while adding a fun graphic element amongst all the softness.
To anchor the top photo, I layered a rub-on and some pieces of pretty ephemera. The vintage clock rub-on was the perfect embellishment for this page because it reinforces the timeless feeling of these precious memories. I also added one of the gorgeous brads to the 'O' in LOVE for extra texture and dimension.
Around the second photo and the 'E', I added more rub-ons and ephemera that help connect the photo clusters. The swallow embellishment adds movement and helps guide your eye diagonally through the design.
One of my favourite things about this collection is all the butterflies! I scattered a few around the page and only adhered the centres so the wings lift slightly for added dimension. Little details like this always bring a layout to life.
To finish everything off, I added the large “documented” title across the bottom of the page. The script font balances the softness of the florals and vintage elements while perfectly capturing the story behind these treasured memories.
I really enjoyed creating this layout and documenting such meaningful moments with this stunning collection. The soft neutral palette mixed with vintage textures and elegant embellishments makes Simple Vintage Timeless Harmony such a versatile collection for wedding, heritage, and everyday memory keeping.
