Hello Crafty Friends!
It's Nathalie here with a bit of fresh inspiration featuring the gorgeous NOTEWORTHY collection. This new Kelly Bangs collection is just perfect for all types of memories, and I took advantage of all the crafty supply designs to create this page.
There are so many things that inspired this page, that I had to restrain myself from using all the things in one page. But, for this page, one of my starting points was the JUNE paper. The diamond shapes in the b side of the paper gave me the idea to used them as means to frame my page.
I am using a piece of Color Vibe Dusty Rose paper to mimic the diamond shapes in the June paper. Once I glued it to the center of the page, I quickly hand stitched it to the page. Next, I trimmed the wood grain patterned paper from the 6x8 pad into a 3x8 strips and hand stitched them to the center of the page. To finish the background, I used pieces of washi tape to accent the diamond shape of the piece.
I love Chipboard frames! And the ones in this collection are amazing. I picked the one with the double 3x4 photo spots, and back the spaces with pictures of my latest live session. I set it in the center of the page.
Next, it is all about embellishing the page. I started by layering ephemera, journal bits, large ephemera to the right and left of the photos. I made sure to balance my page along the way, but it was so easy to play with all the paper, adhesive brads, and enamel dots. Those large ephemera pieces are just one of my new obsessions!
The foam stickers are always the best elements when building a title. I just needed a few extra embellishments around the title to complete my page.
I love how this turned out! And cannot wait to keep using all the NOTEWORTHY things to document my days in my daily journals, too. I cannot wait to see what you will create with it!
