Hello Simple Stories friends, Becki here, to share a layout with you that I created with the brand-new Simple Vintage Essentials collection. Friends, I have fallen in love with this collection! At first, I wasn’t sure about the color palette but once I started creating with it, I have had so much fun.
One of my favorite techniques is fussy cutting. I know fussy cutting isn’t for everyone, but I love it! I decided to fussy cut a whole bunch of flowers from the “Little Details” patterned paper. There are so many different types of flowers in this collection. They’re all beautiful!
After fussy cutting flowers, I adhered them to half of the black patterned paper background using a mix of foam adhesive and liquid adhesive.
To balance out all of the flowers, I added my photo, title and journaling on the opposite side of the page.
Whether you like fussy cutting or not, you’ll LOVE the Simple Vintage Essentials collection! It’s so much fun to work with. On this layout, I shared a photo of me, but I’ve also used it to create a masculine scrapbook page as well.
