Love is in the air! 💕 It’s Ali (@funadventureswithali), and I’m so excited to share this timeless layout created with the Simple Vintage Junk Drawer collection.
I used some of my favorite wedding photos paired with the beautiful pink floral background paper. I absolutely love the softness of this paper and how perfectly it works with the embellishments I chose. Our wedding colors were blush pink and gray, so I was thrilled that Simple Stories offers a coordinating cardstock kit that matches this collection so well.
We were married on a gorgeous August day, and the colors from that day are still just as stunning. To frame the main 5x7 wedding photo, I cut eight strips of patterned paper and added stitching between each layer for extra texture. For the title, I layered a foam sticker that reads Timeless, which felt like the perfect fit for this photo of us. I sprinkled hearts and enamel dots around the title and added a word phrase sticker from the 12x12 sticker sheet.
Next, I chose a large flower and a pretty pink butterfly ephemera piece, finishing them off with a few enamel dots around the butterfly. One of my favorite details on the page is the clock brad—I absolutely love how it ties into the “timeless” theme.
I printed three smaller photos and matted them on a strip of paper from the 6x8 paper pad, then used foam tape to layer them over the larger photo. I added foam behind several word phrase stickers so they’d pop off the page, along with another grouping of enamel dots. To add even more dimension, I layered chipboard stickers over the patterned paper, letting them overlap the photo slightly, and tucked a flower underneath. I finished everything off with another pretty pink foam butterfly sticker.
I truly love how this layout turned out and how beautifully this collection highlights such special memories. It really makes my heart happy. đź’— I hope you get a chance to celebrate your loved ones this month.
