Hey friends! Brianna here today and I'm so stoked to share this layout using the new Simple Vintage Sand & Sea collection! You know me, I absolutely LOVE all of the Simple Vintage lines and this one is amazing!! Who doesn't love a vintage beachy/summery vibe? I had the best time putting this page together and I hope you like it too.
To start, I selected the Sea Breeze paper from the 12x12 Vintage Basics Kit as my base. I then took a piece of my favorite Color Vibe Cardstock (Warm White) and trimmed it down to an 11x11. Next, I selected the B side of the 12x12 Journal Elements and trimmed it down to a 10x10 size. My photo is of my sweet girl on the beach and this beach patterned paper matched it PERFECTLY! I went ahead and stacked all of my papers together, with the biggest one at the bottom and adhered them all together. I love how all of the layer's look!
I went ahead and adhered my photo down towards the bottom right corner of my page. I wanted to have the sand in my photo, sort of line up with the sand on the patterned paper. I then went ahead and selected a few of the Chipboard Pieces and started building an embellishment cluster down at the right corner of my photo. I love the bows in this collection; they're honestly one of my favorite pieces!
For my title, I chose a Foam Sticker and arranged it on the left side of my photo. Before I adhered it down, I wanted something to anchor it, so I pulled out the Journal Bits pack and adhered one of the larger pieces down first. This helped start another embellishment cluster on that side of my layout. I went ahead and layered in a few Foam stickers as well as a few more Chipboard Pieces to complete that section. That anchor is so cute!
I thought the upper right corner of my photo needed a little something, so I built up a smaller embellishment cluster using more of the Foam and Chipboard pieces. I also pulled in a few Decorative Brads as well as some of the Cardstock Stickers. There are some great phrases in this collection, so I wanted to make sure I included a few.
For a finishing touch, I sprinkled in some Enamel Dots and that was it! The background patterned paper is beautiful in itself, and I didn't want to distract too much away from it or my photo. Here's one last look at this fun page:
