3 Stories, 1 Collection: Creating Unique Layouts with "Open Road"
Hello scrapbooking friends! Anya here today, and I am so excited to share not one, but three different layouts I created using the amazing Open Road collection!

I absolutely love the color palette of this collection. The gorgeous florals and detailed ephemera make it incredibly versatile, giving you the perfect opportunity to create layouts that go way beyond typical travel themes. In this post, I want to show you how you can use the exact same collection to build three distinct layouts, each featuring a completely different theme.

Layout 1: Summer Camp Memories
For my first layout, I focused on summer camp. I printed out a bunch of photos and cut them all into circles of varying sizes. To build the background, I paired them with some coordinating patterned paper circles and arranged them across the page. I printed the journaling with a specific block of open space to perfectly fit my title and then finished off the page with a few subtle embellishments scattered around.

Layout 2: The Classic Road Trip
The second layout features a photo from our annual trip to Florida. For this one, we actually were on the open road! It is always so much fun to travel together as a family. I leaned into warmer tones for this page and used a few patterned papers featuring a map print—which happens to be my absolute favorite print in any travel collection!

Layout 3: Exploring New Horizons (Back to School)
My third layout is actually a back-to-school page! You can easily mix and match the phrases in this collection to tell so many different stories. For this title, I combined a few different words to create the phrase "Explore New Horizons." I must admit, I cheated just a little bit here; I grabbed a piece of patterned paper from the Say Cheese Happiest Place collection to get a better color match for the yellow shirt my son is wearing in the photo.

Take the Challenge!
I had an absolute blast creating with this collection, and I'm so happy to add three more layouts to our library of memories. Now, I want to challenge you: take a look at one of Simple Stories newest paper lines and try to make three layouts that tell completely different stories!
Thank you so much for visiting the Simple Stories blog today. I hope you'll be back soon for more inspiration!
