Hello, Nicole here today to share a fun double page layout featuring the new Simple Vintage Timeless Harmony collection to document a courthouse wedding.
The watercolor florals in Timeless Harmony were a perfect fit for the event photos I chose to work with. All of my photos are full size 3x5 inch prints and still allow for plenty of room on this two-page layout for building beautiful floral clusters.
I brought in papers from the coordinating Basics Paper Pack to use as my background papers. I then cut strips from the Pattern Paper pack and used a border punch on the black damask pattern to add some more detail. Hand stitching to the strips added even more dimension and texture. My title was built from the Foam Stickers and the Icon Stickers.
I used more paper from the Basic Pack to mat some focal point photos and lifted them with foam adhesive before I started selecting pieces to build floral clusters around the corner of the photos. The Floral Bits were the perfect pack to find large grounding pieces and I used a mixture of phrase stickers from the Icons and Basic sticker sheets, hearts from the Foam Stickers and the glitter enamel dots to fill in the corner clusters and find details to support my theme.
I did negative style journal strips where I color the text box black and make the font white. I like to do this with collections that mix in those deeper colors as it adds a nice contrast.
