This Is The Year! by Cristina Sales

Hi ladies! Cristina here with a new project to share with you. I made a shadow box to make a gift to a lovely friend.

I used the School life collection and I chose some papers from the collection kit to cover the covers and to make the inside frame.

Surely you already know this type of project is very versatile and suitable for a gift because it allows you to keep it closed as if it were an album or open shown on a shelf. The shadow box measures 6x6 inches and to make the inner frame I used a 12 inch patterned paper which I then creased on the sides to create the raised edges and inserted one inside on the other so I obtained the frame.

To decorate the front cover I used many of the pretty cute embellishments as stickers, die cuts, adhesive brads, puffy stickers and chipboard, using a double adhesive tape to create a 3D effect.

To cover the back of the front cover I chose a lovely white cardstock with tiny grey dots that perfectly matched with the patterned ones.
