This layout really describes my day. I'm the mother of a boy, what's here at home are carts.
I’m a full-time mother so I have the opportunity to have fun all day with him and watch him grow up. I’m so grateful for this opportunity, even though I’m exhausted by the end of the day.
I created a layout with layers of torn papers. I love this effect and how we can take advantage of various prints from the collection. The prints are so beautiful and cheerful, I want to wear them all!
When I chose the photo to use with this collection, I immediately imagined a project with a large "MOM" as the main layout key.
I created it by hand (but you can use a cutting machine if you prefer), with the "Flamingo" paper from Color Vibe. I love sewing details, and I chose to use it in the title leaving the ends of the threads loose. I love it.
I added several elements of the collection to give more prominence to the title.
I love using two identical photos in projects. It’s fun! To bring the photos into focus, I played with stickers, decorative brads, puffy stickers, chipboard and journaling bits. I love this mix of elements with the Simple Stories materials.
I'm in love with this collection, and how it encourages me to spend the whole day creating.
I really hope you guys had fun and enjoyed this project! Wish your new year to be full of good things!
See you soon!
Xx Karlla.
