Hi everyone! Jen Davis here sharing a fun layout using the Sunkissed collection from Simple Stories. When I first saw this collection online and in the catalog I was so excited to get my hands on it and couldn't wait to create with it! The bright and happy colors and summery images brings a smile to my face and gets me so excited for all things summer!
For this page I knew that I wanted to use several different embellishments (they're just so CUTE!) so I needed a way to be able to use them and yet have a somewhat balanced and organized feel to my layout.
To achieve this look I went with creating a block/grid for my backdrop and then simply added die-cuts, stickers, and chipboard pieces on top.
You can see that I didn't keep everything contained in the blocks of the grid but somewhat overlapped things here and there so things weren't too perfectly organized.
I had fun pulling out the large word "summer" from the Summer Vibes Page Pieces for part of my title for this page. The largeness of it really pulled the grid of my layout together. I popped it up using some three dimensional adhesive squares and was good to go.
Such a fun collection to create with and it leaves me wishing and hoping for summer days to get here soon!! In the meantime, I'll get my kicks recalling good times while scrapbooking with it.
