Hi there crafty friends!
It's Nathalie here with some fresh inspiration featuring the gorgeous Simple Vintage Linen Market collection. I just love the color scheme and designs in the collection, which are perfect to document a few pictures of my mom while on our latest vacation. Let's take a look at the finished layout:
The idea of creating a large frame for the photos was inspired by the gingham pattern in the papers as well as the beautiful floras in this collection,
I started by cutting a circle on the checkered side of the Basic Sandcastle paper. A little bit of hand stitching helps to create a border around the frame, while adding texture to the layout. I framed the circle paper with the Journal elements paper, then glued the leftover circle from the frame cut, so that it forms the background for my photos
I backed the photos with papers from the 6x8 paper pad and set them to the right of the circle. I added a few extra embellishments just to add a bit of extra interest to them.
Next, I fussy cut the flowers from the 6x8 paper pad and used them to create a large floral cluster right below the photos. It was so easy to tuck the pieces under the inner perimeter of the circle, just the perfect way to showcase both the photos and the edge of the frame.
I decided to balance the large florals in the frame with the position of my title work. The foam adhesives are always my first choice to help me create a title. This time, I am adding a few floral embellishments to create a large cluster here.
I hope this inspires you to check the beautiful SIMPLE VINTAGE LINEN MARKET collection, I think you are going to love what you create with it!
XO
