THE GOOD STUFF Mini Album by Andrea Lake
Hi Friends! Andrea with you today sharing one of my favorite mini albums I’ve ever made. There are multiple reasons why I consider this project a favorite of mine: I love Simple Stories, their Chipboard frames are always incredible, and the Flea Market collection holds a very special place in my heart. I could go on and on, but I want to share some details about this standing TV Mini album :) Let’s get to it.
I always try to incorporate the chipboard frames we get in my projects in one way or another. Sometimes as one more embellishment on an album cover, some other times as a shaker element or a regular frame in a page, and sometimes, depending on the shape, I want the frame to be the star. I love when I find that piece that dictates exactly what I’ll be making and it’s even better when I can make it happen. This was exactly the case for this mini. I wanted this TV frame to stand like a real TV would.
To make the base of the album, I traced the shape of the original frame on a piece of chipboard, cut it, and covered it with patterned paper. I then created the spine and put them all together to create a hidden hinges mini album. I made all the inside pages the same size and decorated each page leaving space for photos and adding some of my favorite embellishments. You’ll find floral bits and pieces, stickers, and as always, decorative brads. Another favorite of mine.
I used a ribbon to keep this album closed AND the best part is the title that is on the TV Screen can be removed to expose a QR code that will take you to a Dropbox Folder where you can find close up photos of the project, and a walk-through video with all the details.
I hope you like this project and grab this fun collection. It is so inspiring and beautiful. I would love to see what you make with it.
