It’s Christmas time! The best season of the year!
Today I'll show you how I used the gorgeous SV North Pole Collection to make a special Christmas album on 6x8 Sn@p! green binder.
Let’s start with the cover.
Overlapping elements is something we love, right? So, this is the technique I used to decor my Christmas album cover.
I started using a 6½” x 8 ¾” piece of “I’ve been nice” paper.
On top of it, centrally on the left, I pasted the “Merry memories” paper that you can find on the 6x8 paper pad. Before gluing it, I distressed the sides to give texture to the page.
I separated a frame and added a 4x6 card. You can find the same card in the snap card kit.
I decorated my frame using foam stickers, die cuts, brads, chipboards and layered stickers; just between you and me…the layered stickers are my favorite items in this collection. The dimension they give is wonderful and bring a very special touch to the project.
With our background and the frame ready, it's time to paste the frame and add “Merry Dec 25” at the top of our page.
Now add the stickers and we have our cover.
To allow the pocket page to interact with the paper page I made the back with, I removed two pockets from the first page. I added a clipboard “Merry Christmas” on the pocket page and now we have an interaction between the two.
This time I made the pennant with space for 2 3x4 photos. On the back I added a pocket and made a tag where I can add 2 2x2 photos.
Decorating pages with washi is super fun. See how beautiful it looks!
One of the themes in this collection is letters to Santa, so here I used wax seal to decorate my page.
I had a lot of fun creating this album. SV North Pole collection is beautiful. I’m sure that will help you document your Christmas photos in a happy and easy way.
I hope you’ve got some inspiration from this idea and enjoyed it!
Thanks for stopping by and have a creative day!
