Hello Friends, It’s Dorymar! I’m sharing a beautiful project featuring the new Color Vibe Woods Collection. What I love about this collection is that you can match it with any group because one side of the paper offers you a variety of wood color palettes; on the reverse, you have grids and lines. This is amazing!
For this project, I used the new 6x8 Hickory Snap Binder from the Color Vibe collection; this binder includes eight Snap pages and one pocket page with the same Hickory wood design. It’s great to play with any collection you choose to work on.
I decided to decorate the pages with many layers of patterned paper, as usual. For this project, I matched my Color Vibe Wood collection with a few elements from Simple Vintage Essentials and flowers from the Color Vibe Basic collection. The new rub-ons from the SV Essentials collection mixed with washi tape and florals were the perfect tools to create gorgeous backgrounds for my pages.
I created the background on the left page with patterned paper and a textured look with rub-ons and washi tape. On the side of the photo mat, I made a little cluster with florals and foam alphas. Then I added phrases from the SV Essentials sticker book.The black foam alphas from SV Essentials collection gave to my project a special touch because the size and color highlight the pages. I love how the look.
I love adding lines and doodles to my papers, but on flowers, I love it! These wooden ones look fabulous!
I love working with the color vibe collections, but this has been one of my favorites. Seeing what you can create with some leftover, washi and paper is super fun. My project will inspire you to use this or some other Color Vibe collection; you can create wonders with it. You just need to select your favorite color palette.
