Hello friends, this is Vicki (@vickiscraps) here to share a layout using the ever-popular Simple Vintage Lemon Twist collection. The colours in this collection are beautiful - the black and white contrasting with the yellows and teals just make any layout pop off the page. It’s my first time using this collection, so I was super excited to get creating with it.
I was inspired by the Sweet Life 12x12 paper and wanted to build a cluster on the left side of my page. I used some of the papers from the 6x8 paper pad and some Bits & Pieces to layer it up, adding in a piece of string to the tag I used for extra texture.
My photo had some teal and lemon in it, so it was perfect for this collection. I wanted to add this into the cluster I’d created, but also achieve a little separation with some tissue paper from my stash to make the photo the focus of the layout.
I created a similar smaller cluster on the right side of the page with the same papers, some Bits & Pieces and a strip of washi tape to balance the page.
Finally, I used the foam stickers to create my title. I went with the big ‘Sweetest’ title and the smaller ‘Sunshine’. The title stretched across the page to bring the two clusters together perfectly.
