Today I'm sharing a brand-new 6x8 SNAP! album featuring the gorgeous limited-edition orange binder—and trust me, you won't want to miss this one! The vibrant orange color pairs perfectly with the Open Road collection, making it the ideal home for documenting road trips, vacations, and all of your favorite travel adventures.
The binder includes all of the dividers and pocket pages you've come to love, giving you plenty of room to preserve both photos and stories.
Decorating the Album Cover

For the cover, I chose the beautiful Enjoy the View patterned paper, using the journaling-print side with the pretty florals. Since the binder cover is slightly larger than 6x8, you'll need to use a 12x12 sheet rather than the 6x8 paper pad to get full coverage. The 6x8 papers are perfect for decorating the inside pages, but the larger sheet is the best choice for the cover.
Trim the paper to approximately 6⅜" x 8¾" for a perfect fit. Once adhered, I embellished the cover with a mix of Foam Stickers, Floral Bits, butterflies, and Decorative brads.
Creating the Divider Pages
Each divider in the album is covered on both the front and back using a variety of patterned papers from the collection.

For the first divider, I used Roadside Memories, trimming it to 6½" x 8⅛" to leave a nice border around the edges. I created a mat for a 4x6 photo in the center and finished the page with Bits & Pieces, sticker for the tab, and touches of gold glitter glue for a little sparkle.

On the back, I covered the divider with Map It Out, using the same measurements. A framed 4x6 photo, foam stickers, embellishments, and glitter glue completes the design.

I followed this same concept for all three divider pages, using different patterned papers throughout to keep each section unique. Most pages feature space for either a 4x6 or 4x4 photo, making them versatile for all kinds of travel memories.

For the back of the final divider, instead of another photo mat, I used one of the 4x6 cards from the Elements paper, creating a decorative page that's perfect for ending your story.

Pocket Page Inspiration

The first 6x8 pocket page features the Travel Magazine paper from the 6x8 paper pad. I left the front side simple so the beautiful pattern could shine, while the back includes space for a 4x6 photo accented with chipboard, a decorative brad, and ticket embellishments from the Journaling Bits pack.

For the next pocket page, I wanted to make it interactive. This page includes spaces for 3x4 photos along with a 4x6 photo, plus a flip-up element that opens. I also incorporated one of the 4x6 cards featuring a map, making it the perfect place to highlight your travel route or destinations.

Journaling Pages

I always love including dedicated journaling space in my albums. For this project, I embellished one of the included binder inserts with stickers and foam stickers to create a beautiful place for recording memories, favorite moments, or stories from your trip.

A Fun Fold-Out Finish
One of my favorite pages in the album is the final fold-out page.

Using the Adventure Awaits paper with the beautiful butterfly pattern, I trimmed the paper to approximately 8¼" x 12". I then scored it at 5⅜" and 9⅛" to create an accordion fold, keeping the butterfly side visible as the main design.

On the front, I added space for one 4x4 photo and one 3x4 photo, then layered on plenty of embellishments, Foam Stickers, Floral Bits, and a title to create a fun focal point.

On the back, there's room for a 4x6 photo, and tucked underneath the fold are spaces for two 3x3 photos. I finished everything with more floral clusters, foam stickers, Bits & Pieces, and layered embellishments to create lots of interest and dimension.

I hope this album inspires you to pull out the Open Road collection and start documenting your own adventures. Whether you're preserving a cross-country road trip, a weekend getaway, or your everyday travels, this project is full of fun interactive details that make storytelling easy and beautiful.
Happy crafting, and I'll see you again soon!
