I’m so excited to share this adorable little mini album created with the Pink Lemonade collection, along with the coordinating Pink Lemonade die set designed in collaboration with Spellbinders Paper Arts. This project is packed with sweet details, interactive elements, and plenty of room for photos and journaling — all wrapped up in the cutest summertime style!
When I started this album, I knew I wanted it to feel bright, cheerful, and full of charm. The Pink Lemonade collection made that easy with its happy color palette, playful patterns, and fruity accents. From ginghams and florals to lemons and strawberries, every page feels like sunshine and fresh-squeezed fun.
I used the Pink Lemonade dies to create the adorable clipboard-style base for the album cover. The layered details from the die set add so much dimension and personality — it’s the perfect way to give this mini album a sturdy, decorative foundation.
One of my favorite parts of this project is all the little details. I added a sweet banner across the top of the cover and layered bold title pieces to create a bright “Sweet Memories” focal point. Small hearts and floral accents bring in pops of color and tie everything together beautifully.
Throughout the album, I combined patterned papers, Bits & Pieces, and die-cut elements to build layered clusters that feel full and fun without overwhelming the design.
Even though this album is compact, it’s designed to hold lots of memories! Inside, you’ll find:
- Pockets for extra photos and journaling cards
- A flip-up element for hidden pictures or longer stories
- Layered mats to easily tuck in multiple photos
- Plenty of space to add handwritten notes
I love creating interactive features in mini albums because they make the experience of flipping through the pages even more special. There’s something so fun about discovering a tucked-away photo or lifting a flap to reveal a memory.
