I had so much fun putting together this 6x8 friendship themed album, and I’m excited to share all the details with you! This project is full of texture, dimension, and lots of adorable elements. Let’s take a look inside.
For the cover, I started with my album base and added some black and white trim, along with the "Sweet Friends" sentiment from the Sentiment Bits & Pieces pack. I included the "Making Memories" phrase from the sticker sheet and adorned the cover with a few elements from the Page Pieces pack—including the Pooh Bear, Piglet and a hanging banner from the Bits & Pieces pack.
To add some dimension, I used foam adhesive to pop up both Pooh and the banner. I also added a foam bee next to Piglet for an extra touch of whimsy. I love how the textures from the ribbon and the raised elements bring the cover to life!
On the inside covers, I placed the large sticker silhouette from the sticker sheet. To make it work across both the front and back inside covers, I trimmed it in half.
For my intro page, I used a 6" x 8" pocket page and inserted one of the 6" x 8" patterned papers from the paper pad. I highlighted the flowers with some glitter glue and added brads in the flower centers for a little sparkle.
On the back of the intro page, I arranged two 3" x 4" photos and decorated them with a mix of adhesive brads, chipboard pieces, and floral Bits & Pieces.
For my next page, I worked with a 6" x 8" floral patterned sheet and added a 4" x 6" photo. To embellish, I used elements from the Big Bits & Pieces pack as well as the floral Bits & Pieces.
On the back, I layered another 6" x 8" paper, a 4" x 4" photo, and tucked in some mini tags from the paper pad. I also added the "Sweet as Honey" title from the Big Bits & Pieces pack.
Throughout the album, I primarily worked with my 6" x 8" paper pad and a variety of embellishment packs. I used brads, enamel dots, and foam stickers to add dimension and make elements pop.
For a combo pocket page, I added two 3" x 4" photos on the front and a 2 ¾" x 2 ¾" flip-up photo. Again, I used elements from the 6" x 8" paper pad and the 4" x 6" cut-apart sheets. I finished it off with a "You & Me" sentiment from the Bits & Pieces pack.
For my final page, I used a chipboard divider that came with the album. On the back, I decorated it with two 2 ¾" x 2 ¾" photos and used the Spellbinders Polaroid Metal Die to create frames for them from the 6" x 8" paper pad. I also used the Pooh’s Honey Pot Metal Die Set to create an embellishment with papers from the collection.
To complete the album, I added foam stickers, enamel dots, and additional Bits & Pieces for extra texture and detail.
I designed this album with friendship in mind, which is a key theme throughout. However, this collection is so versatile—you could use it for everyday memories, family love, or even a baby album (which I’m excited to try next!).
I hope this project inspires you to create something beautiful today! If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments. Happy crafting! ✂️✨
