Sweet Baby Moments with Classic Pooh Baby
Hi friends, it's @vickiscraps here, and I’m so excited to share this sweet baby layout I created using the Simple Stories Classic Pooh Baby collection. This collection is full of the softest colours, adorable characters, and heartfelt sentiments — perfect for documenting those precious newborn moments.
I started with the map-style Hello Baby patterned paper as my background because it instantly set such a whimsical tone for the page. I loved the vertical strip of floral-patterned paper and decorative borders along the left side that bring in extra colour and help anchor the design.
I tucked my photo of this sweet baby under the border after cutting carefully with a craft knife. I wanted it to be the heart of the layout, so I kept the embellishing around it soft and layered. I used florals, enamel dots, and ephemera pieces to frame the photo and draw your eye right to that precious little face. 
One of my favorite details is the Pooh and stork ephemera paired with the lovely quote. It felt like the perfect sentiment for this moment.
On the right side of the photo, I layered word stickers and icons to create the phrase “You have my whole heart, baby". The Pooh Baby collection makes this kind of storytelling so easy — there are so many sweet phrases and perfectly sized embellishments to choose from. I also tucked in some journaling cards and baby-themed icons, like the footprints, to add a bit of texture and interest.
I absolutely loved working with this collection. It’s soft, nostalgic, and timeless — everything I look for when creating baby layouts. If you’re documenting newborn photos or special early memories, the Pooh Baby collection is such a beautiful choice.
