Hello there – it’s Tya here (tyasmith3)! I had so much fun creating this batch of cards and tags using the super cute “Sunny Days’ collection! The playful patterns, bright colors, and adorable summer icons made this project feel like a little mini vacation – I could practically hear the waves and feel the sunshine as I worked. It honestly made me wants to lay out a beach blanket and relax under a striped umbrella with a cold lemonade in hand.

My first card is full of summer vibes, featuring a cute floral swimsuit, striped surfboard and the cheerful “sunshine day” sentiment. Layered pattern papers from the 6x8 paper pad and the bright icons from the Ephemera packs make it feel like a beach day in paper form!
My first tag is playful and is all about good vibes and adventure! Featuring a bold “Life is good” from the Sentiment Bits and Pieces, it’s accented with a pastel pink butterfly, colorful dots and the cutest scooter ready to ride into summer. The “oh, yeah” tab at the top adds the perfect, carefree touch!
This cheerful card is a burst of retro summer fun! With bold pops of orange, green and polka dots, it’s layered with playful elements like sunglasses, daisies and a vintage ice cream cone die cuts. The “a summer to remember” sentiment sets the tone, perfectly capturing those sweet, sun-drenched memories.
This tag is bright, bold, and bursting with optimism! The “sunny days ahead” sentiment is front and center, surrounded by playful elements like a whimsical patchwork cloud, cheerful florals and a layered sunshine die cut with a striped Decorative Brad in the center. It’s the perfect little piece of happiness to welcome warmer days!
These square cards are some of my favorites to design! This colorful grid –style card is packed with playful summer vibes! Each square from the 2x2 cut apart paper brings a burst of sunshine – striped swim trunks with shades, a bold flower with a butterfly, a sweet striped beach ball, and a bright “Fun +Sun” sentiment accented with cute puffy hearts. It’s like a mini summer all in one card!
My next tag is full of uplifting charm and breezy style! The layered sentiment “it’s all good” sets a carefree tone, while the colorful patchwork kite and trail of bow-tied strings add movement and whimsy. Finished off with soft florals and a bright palette, it’s like a little paper pep talk wrapped in sunshine!
This card is a sweet reminder to slow down and soak up the season! With the phrase “Relax Enjoy” front and center, it’s surrounded by summery touches like a striped umbrella, sunhat with a pretty ribbon, and pastel hearts sprinkled about. My final tag is the definition of summer fun! Featuring a bright sprinkle –topped Popsicle, a swirly ice cream cone, and the bold word “cool”, it’s all about those happy treats of summer! With playful hearts, colorful layers, and a sweet “happy times” sentiment at the top, this tag is a total treat – no freezer required!
This final card is bursting with retro charm and positivity! The bold “You make me Smith” sentiment from the Sentiment Bits and Pieces takes center stage, paired with a classic green VW style van that is ready to roll into happy memories. With a fun mix of polka dots, florals and playful textures, this design feels like a sunny road trip wrapped in paper joy!
