Hello, Nicole here today to share another double page layout, this time featuring the Land of the Free collection.
Simple Vintage Land of the Free may be a smaller collection, but it still packs a big patriotic punch! I pulled out some photos from a Fourth of July get-together and decided to create a two-page layout that would let me showcase lots of memories while still giving a couple of photos a chance to shine. I chose two photos to serve as the focal point on the right side of the layout and turned the rest into a photo collage for the left page.
I couldn't resist the patterned paper featuring a text-style background with bursts of fireworks, so I used it as the perfect backdrop for my photo collage. I mixed stickers from the Basics and Icon Sticker Sheets to create a vertical cluster along the far-left edge of the page, then tucked a few additional pieces along the top. These little details help draw the eye across the layout and connect the two pages.
On the right side, I featured my two focal photos, staggering them to create open spaces above and below where I could tuck in more fun elements from the sticker sheets. I started by building my title using stickers, which helped me establish the placement of the photos and make sure I had plenty of room to add all the fun bits and pieces I wanted to use from the Land of the Free collection.
For my journaling, I typed out my story and trimmed the text into strips that fit perfectly above my focal photos. To finish the layout, I grabbed the tiny star stickers from both the Basics and Icon Sticker Sheets and sprinkled them throughout my clusters. These small finishing touches added just the right amount of detail and helped tie everything together for a festive Fourth of July page!
