Spring Is In The Air! by Dorymar Perez

Spring Is In The Air! by Dorymar Perez

Hello friends, Dorymar here today! I can't believe it's almost March now, wow! I feel happy because Spring is approaching and I love seeing how the landscape transforms with many flowers and a lot of beautiful colors. Today, I present to you a perfect project to document this beautiful time that is coming with the gorgeous Bunnies and Bloom collection. This collection has many beautiful icons, adorable patterns, and lovely colors! Check it out!

Flipbooks come in a wide variety of colors, this time I decided to use the teal one because it brings out all the beautiful colors that the collection brings, but it also combines perfectly with the elements of the collection.

For the cover, I used a few patterned papers and one of the 6x4 cards to create the title of my project. Around it I decorated it with some magnificent elements that the collection offers.  I adore each one of them, especially the cute bunnies.

As usual, I love creating page dividers, Using  the new "Color Vibe Spring Textured Cardstock", the papers are very strong, and the thickness is so perfect for paper crafting. I used one of the flipbook's pocket pages as a guide to make the folds, then I used another new product that Simple Stories offers you, the new Simple Page Templates. These die cuts are perfect for making simple and quick projects.

Inside my page divider, I used one of the beautiful, patterned papers from the 6x8 paper pad and added a few die cuts and stickers from the collection.

I love to fill up the pocket pages with the lovely cards included in the collection, they have beautiful sentiments and gorgeous designs.

Designing the 6x8 pages is one of the things that I love most about these projects, I can create pages for large photos as well as including space for photos of various sizes, but the most exciting thing is to incorporate all the beautiful elements of the collection.

Another technique that I like to incorporate in this type of project is to reduce the pocket pages. This time, I used one of the 6x8 pocket pages and reduced it to 4x8 to create a smaller page to add interaction to the project. Then, I used my photo sleeve tool (FUSE) to seal the edges.

I hope you enjoyed this project as much as I did, and that it inspires you to create using the fantastic new Bunnies and Bloom collection.

Happy Spring!
