Spooky Things 6x8 Album

Spooky Things 6x8 Album

Hey friends! Today I’m excited to share a brand-new project with you—my Spooky Things 6x8 Snap Album. This one has been so much fun to put together, and it’s already got me in the Halloween spirit!

I started with a black 6x8 Snap binder and covered the front with the polka dot side of the Gone Batty paper. From there, I had the best time layering on embellishments from the sticker sheet, bits & pieces, and foam stickers. A few of my favorite details include the sweet ghost, spiderweb, and floral touches, all dressed up with enamel dots and decorative brads in the centers. To finish things off, I sprinkled some glittery gold mist—it catches the light just right and adds that perfect Halloween sparkle. And how cute is the ghost with the flower in her hair?!?

For the inside, I mixed things up with both chipboard dividers and a variety of pocket pages (6x8, 4x6, and 3x4). Each divider is covered with papers from the 6x8 paper pad—these fit perfectly over the dividers! I dressed up the tabs using stickers from the 12x12 sticker sheet, making sure to cover both the front and back so they’re polished from every angle.

I love using a combination of outside-the-pocket pages and traditional pocket pages—it keeps the album interesting and gives your eye places to rest while still leaving lots of room for photos and journaling.

For the pockets, I tucked in a mix of 3x4 photos, cut-aparts, and journaling bits. The white rectangles you’ll see in my photos are placeholders where photos will eventually go. I also added embellishments throughout—foam stickers, decorative brads, enamel dots, and of course, more bits & pieces. It’s a playful mix that’s ready for all of my Halloween 2025 photos (since I’ve already scrapped all of last year’s and older ones!)

To wrap things up, I slipped in journaling spots here and there and added a few stickers to give it that little bit of pizzazz. I’ll also be sharing a reel with a full flip-through of the album, so be sure to check out Simple Stories or my Instagram for the video walkthrough.

This album is such a fun project for anyone looking to get a head start on Halloween memory keeping. Whether you’re documenting this year’s festivities or planning ahead like me, the Spooky Things collection is full of possibilities!

Have a faboolous day!
