Hello friends! Who doesn’t love a fun Halloween collection? I am loving FaBOOlous this year and not just because I love orange! This collection has the perfect mix of icons in it that are perfect for all types of Halloween layouts.
I was inspired by the crescent moon on the Batty for Candy paper and started by cutting a large version of it from the Hello Pumpkin paper using circles. I have a process video which is linked at the bottom of this post if you want to see exactly how it was done.
I had some photos of me with a witch's hat from snapchat and I wanted to include embellishments that had a witchy feel, so I layered some around my photos.
The hat is super cute and almost perfect for the photos, which I love.
I layered some papers on the left-hand side of the crescent moon so that my embellishments could sit on top and I added a banner at the top that ties the two together.
A foam sticker was the perfect choice for my title and sat nicely beneath my two photos.
To finish off the layout, I hand drew some spider webs around the page. These are really simple - you just draw some straight lines out from a center point with a ruler and then link them with curved lines. I finally added some black acrylic paint splatters for that extra bit of detail.
I really hope this inspires you and if you’d like to see how it came together in more detail, please take a look at my YouTube process video here: https://youtu.be/VWNhmuFDx5I
Until next time... Vicki x
