Hello Simple Stories friends, Becki here to share a Make It Merry Sn@p album with you that I created with the new Make It Merry collection. I can’t believe November is already here. December will be here before we know it! I’m so happy that I get to jump on my December scrapbooking with the fun Make It Merry 6x8 Sn@p album. I’m excited to share it with you.
Because there are finished pages in this album, all I had to do was add a few embellishments to make it mine. On the cover, I created the title of the album with a few pieces from the Make It Merry page kit.
Some of the elements in page kits are slightly larger which made them perfect for the title of my album. To add some texture and a bit of interest, I added a red and black plaid bow.
Each page only took a few minutes to create because I based my design on the artwork that was already done for me. On the title page I simply added the “December” die cut, a bit of washi and a little label sticker where I could stamp the date.
I love the chipboard frames! They’re perfect for this Sn@p album. By adding adhesive only on three sides, it will be easy to add photos in December. Of course, the 6x8 paper pads make adding extra pages easy! I used a bit of washi to make a 6x8 flip-up under the chipboard frame.
Not all of the pages in the album are 6x8. There are pages that are smaller sizes and different shapes. I love the added interest. The journaling prompts on this page is a fun way to add you or even your child's Christmas list.
I think that one of my favorite pages is the page that I created with the adorable black and white plaid patterned paper. The pattern is so fun!!
Isn’t that Dec page so cute!! All I did was add a bit of washi and two stickers to complete the page.
There is a page in the album that has a pocket in it. I plan on using that page to add all of the Christmas cards our family receives. I created another pocket to put the card our family sends out in.
This album was such a fun project. I cannot wait to fill it with memories from the upcoming holiday season. What are you creating with the Make it Merry collection? I can't wait to see what you create! Happy holidays friends!
