Snowflake Kisses! by Kylie Kingham

Hello friends! It’s Kylie back on the blog today with another layout to share. For today’s layout I have been working with the cute ‘Winter Cottage’ collection and wanted to include some cut files. Cut files are a great way to add a little extra detail into your page design. I’ve used two cut files by Simple Stories in my layout which I found in the Silhouette Design store. They were the Snowman, (design ID 308440) and the Snowflakes. (Design ID 308432)

For my background I used the pink side of the 2 x 2 ELEMENTS paper and layered smaller squares tilted on an angle, of some of the Cranberry WINTER dotted cardstock as well as the PEACE,LOVE,JOY paper. I added a very fine, hand drawn border with a white marker pen around the Cranberry cardstock to help frame my layout.

Using some various plain coloured cardstock from my stash I cut out my cute snowman and added his ear warmers using the SEASON OF WONDER paper and his scarf with the KEEP COZY paper.

White cardstock was used for my snowflakes and I have centred them with some of the gold foiled die cuts from the Bits & Pieces pack.

I fussy cut some of the fun gift tags from the TAGS paper to add in behind the multiple prints of my photo. To complete my layout I added a chipboard sticker title and a few scattered die cuts. I also used one of the gold foil puffy stickers to include a secondary title in the top right hand corner of the page.
