Hey friends! Brianna Estrella here today and I'm so happy to share a layout using the beautiful Simple Vintage Fresh Snow collection. This collection has a soft, dreamy feel to it and it's perfect for all of your winter memories. Here's my page, I documented a couple of photos of my oldest son back from 2008 when he was playing in the snow in Colorado. We had such a fun trip!
To start, I trimmed the Color Vibe Cardstock in Oatmeal down to an 11x11 and matted it on top of the Frosted Memories 12x12 patterned paper. I love the look of the brown cardstock on top of the plaid design. It's so pretty! To add some extra texture, I added some stitching around the border with my sewing machine. Before I started building up the rest of my page, I sprayed some white acrylic paint and added in some splatters of a Distress Oxide ink pad in Faded Jeans.
First, I built a small embellishment cluster in the top right corner of my page using some Ephemera Bits, Floral Bits and a few Foam Stickers. I love the pops of black in this collection. It's a nice contrast to all of the soft touches in the collection.
Since I had the embellishment cluster in the top right, I decided to add my photos and title down in the bottom lefthand corner. I matted my photos using the 6x8 Paper Pad and layered a few of the Ephemera Bits behind them. I just love all of the ephemera pieces in the Simple Vintage lines!!
I chose a phrase from the Foam Sticker sheet for my title and nestled it between my two photos. I then tucked a few of the Floral Bits into them as well. I love the greenery and the pops of brown from the pinecones.
Next, I went through the Chipboard and Foam Sticker sheets and pulled out some snowflakes to sprinkle around my layout. I also added in some hearts as well. They gave a few more pops of color throughout the page.
