Hi Friends!
It's Rebecca Moore @preciouspagespapercraft with you today. We have officially survived Winter here in the UK and we are starting to see the first signs of Spring, so it's the perfect time to be sharing a 12x12 layout I've created using the Simple Vintage Spring Garden collection.
For years, I've only ever used white cardstock for my backgrounds, but lately I've been enjoying using patterned papers more. I loved the subtle detailing on the B side of the 'Bloom Brightly' paper and felt that the centre of the page offered the perfect space to create in.
After cutting my two photos into circles, I overlapped them slightly in the centre of the page with some foam behind to create some dimension. Behind my photos, I added some stickers from the 6x8 Sticker Book. I love how these stickers resemble strips of washi tape, and they extend the layout out towards the edges of the page.
Using a mixture of Bits & Pieces, Chipboard and Cardstock Stickers, I built some small clusters on either side of my photos - sticking with the gardening theme to match my photos.
For my title, I've reached for my favourite Simple Stories product - the Foam Stickers. I cannot express how much I always love these stickers, and they make choosing a title for my layout so easy! I selected two different stickers and played around with the positioning a little bit. In the end I decided to add the word 'smile' under my photos, and 'grow' towards the bottom of the page with some Bits & Pieces behind it to build up a small cluster.
To finish my layout, I added some of the gorgeous Rub-Ons and a scattering of Glossy Enamel Dots in colours to match the other elements on the page.
