Smart Looks Good On You! by Anya Lunchenko

Hello everyone! Anya here today and I am so excited to share a mini album with you! I created this with the School Life collection! School theme collections have always been my favorite to play with and this line was no exception! Actually, after checking all the papers and embellishments from this line a little closer, I knew I had to create some sort of album!

To create this mini book, I started with a cover, which measures about 5.5” x 7.5”. Then, I sorted patterned paper into two stacks: cards/tags and basic patterned papers. I cut apart all pieces from the first stack, and used the second stack to create pages. I created two separate “notebooks” with the help of a Cinch machine, one measuring about 5” x 7” and a smaller one approximately 4.25” square.

After getting all the basics done, I enjoyed decorating pages with embellishments and stickers around photo mats. I like to decorate most of the page spreads, but also lease some spots free from decor to be used with whatever photo placement I will need later.

Adding a few “flips” with 3x4” or 4x4” card elements makes a mini book a lot more fun to look through. To make a “flip”, I create a card base measuring slightly larger than the card element I am planning to use with an opening either to the right or to the bottom, and cover the front panel with a card element. This allows me to add more decorative pieces to the album and gives me additional spots for photos inside.

If you have students in your family, or have some past school memories that you still want to record, go take a look at this incredibly beautiful paper line! It can cover all of your school related needs!
