Hi, Friends! Andrea here, sharing a double-page layout using the gorgeous Crafty Babe collection by Simple Stories. I had so many amazing memories to document from my recent trip to Markham, ON, for the Create & Inspire event organized by Scrapbook & Cards Today—and of course, I needed extra space for photos!
I used two 12x12 pieces of Color Vibe Mint cardstock as the base for my layout and created a fun patterned border across the spread using three of the patterned papers from the collection. For the left page, I printed a 7x9 photo of the Simple Stories Design Team members who attended the event. I always love spending time with Becki and Ali, and this time we finally got to meet Sophie in person—she is the sweetest!
I framed the photo using Flamingo and Black Color Vibe cardstock, then used the “Creative” piece from the Page Pieces pack as the title. I finished the page by adding some floral pieces, a large tag and a camera piece.
The second page of the spread features a grid of nine 3x3 photos. I used one of the Simple Stories Page Templates (Design 8) to create this photo arrangement on Flamingo Color Vibe cardstock. Before matting the whole piece with Black Color Vibe cardstock and adhering it to the background, I added three pockets for tags—perfect for hidden journaling or extra decorative touches.
To complete the layout, I had fun embellishing with foam stickers, Bits & Pieces, decorative brads, and enamel dots from the Crafty Babe collection.
