See The Beauty In You! by Jeanne Jachna

I love living in an area where the seasons change but lately the snow and cold have been wearing out their welcome. I’ve been daydreaming about my garden and the joy of seeing different flowers develop buds and then finally blossom. If you’re a big fan of flowers you’re going to love the Simple Stories Simple Vintage Indigo Garden Collection.

Just as the name “Indigo Garden” implies this collection includes lovely shades of indigo! Indigo is a rich color between blue and violet and is just gorgeous!

The realistic flowers are absolutely stunning! The only thing they they’re missing is their fragrance. It temps me to spray a little perfume on them before I tuck them in the mail. I wonder if I can trick anyone into thinking they’re smelling the flowers!

My cards have lots of layers starting with a folded card base. I top the base with a slightly smaller colored cardstock panel using the Basics. This paper is a nice weight, strong enough to be a card base. The colors are coordinated to match the collection and are a great way to mix up solids and patterns on your projects.

I really love the 12” Journal Elements page that you’ll find in the 12” Collection Kit. The cut apart elements are great for building layers and creating focal points for the beautiful floral images and butterflies.

You’ll find lots of eye candy in this collection for embellishing too! Enamel Dots, Decorative Brads, and beautiful washi tape make everything better! I’m smitten with the washi roll that’s covered with butterflies!

This collection is not only beautiful, it’s filled with sentiments to lift your spirits and remind your loved ones that they’re beautiful, one of a kind, loved, and precious to you!

These cards came together quick for me! The gorgeous flowers were a sweet escape from the cold winter here in the Midwest. I hope you’ll treat yourself to a walk through the Indigo Garden and let your spirit take flight – (if only for a little while).
