Hello there! Tya here @tyasmith3! As we get into the holiday spirit, I’m excited to share seven handmade cards featuring the delightful “Santa’s Village” collection. This collection is a festive blend of classic Christmas icons and traditional red and green hues, enhanced with bright pops of aqua, pink and gorgeous gold. The cheerful designs and vibrant colors
made these cards a joy to create and I can’t wait to show you how they turned out!
For my first card, I wanted to make Jolly Old Saint Nicholas the star of the show! He’s front and center bringing festive cheer to the design. The “Ho Ho Ho” foam sticker sentiment adds a playful touch, perfectly complimented by beautiful floral accents. To top it off, I added some fun gold details in my tulle bow and gold doily that add just the right amount of sparkle!
For my second card, I couldn’t resist showcasing the adorable icons from the collection. A square card was the perfect canvas to display this festive element, each bringing its own bit of holiday charm. From yummy cookies, to presents, there’s something fun in every corner! I love how the tiny gold stars from the Foam Stickers add just the right amount of sparkle!
My third card features a cozy fireplace die cut as the focal point, creating a warm and inviting scene. It’s backed by a stunning gold doily that adds some elegance, while a string of holiday lights brings a touch of playful charm. The bold “Merry Christmas” sentiment from the Cardstock Stickers finishes this cute card off.
For my next card, I fell in love with the adorable snowman, which I paired with a snow globe background from the Journal Bits and Pieces. It creates such a whimsical holiday scene! The Good Cheer is from the Sentiment Bits and Pieces and adds such a joyful touch! The playful polka dots and classic plaid papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad makes this card pop and gives it a fun, festive vibe!
My next card is a fun one! The bold “Tis the Season” sentiment from the Sentiment Bits and Pieces takes center stage. It’s perfectly complimented by an adorable gingerbread house die cut and adding a sweet festive touch. I couldn’t resist adding a few more pretty gold accents for extra sparkle! This card is sure to bring some holiday cheer!
For my sixth card, I created a sweet little scene featuring super cute House die cut paired with 3 delightful accents from the North Pole Bits and Pieces. I trimmed one of the gorgeous flowers from the Floral Bits and Pieces in half and added them to the sides of the house. See the cute little candy cane brad above the title? Such a fun touch! I love the rich red tones throughout this card!
For my final card, I couldn’t resist using one of the adorable Chipboard Frames from the collection. I chose a fun polka dot frame and backed it with some Mint Color Vibe cardstock. To make it extra special, I turned it into an interactive shaker card by adding some jolly gold sequins inside. The Very Merry title, from the Foam Stickers at the bottom adds the perfect festive touch, while cute bakers twine bow and button finish this card off with a bit of charm. It’s a fun way to wrap up this holiday set of cards!
