Quarantine Memories! by Maria Celeste Gonzalo
Hi! How are you crafters? Hoping everything is fine! I’m back and today I want to show a different project…. We are living a very special time of our lives… Nobody could ever imagine what we have lived this year. We have spent the last months taking care of each other… and we have stayed at home. But, why not look for those special and funny moments. The new Quarantined collection is a lovely way to document all of them. It puts a smile on your face… and lovely rainbows are everywhere….
This is a really easy mini album.  It’s a venetian bling book with  a final size of 4 1/2” w x 6” h.

For the structure of the album we need one piece of white paper of  27” w x 6” h.  You have to score it in 4 ½”, 9”, 13 ½”, 18”, 22 1/2” ( you have to do it every 4 1/2”). As simple as that.

Choose 8 design papers from the collection kit and cut pieces of 4 1/4” w x 5 3/4” h. You have to glue them on one side of the accordion.

For the cover:

To decorate my cover I used one of the cards from the paper collection kit. I cut a lovely rainbow and a small phrase. Besides, I prepared a paper rosette. For it I cut two strips of 1 1/2” w x 12” h and scored them every 1/4”.

I added the paper rosette and the rainbow to my cover and cut some small clouds with a paper punch. For the word “Together” I used the black foam alphabet… it’s lovely!

For the interior:

Once the cover is ready, we must punch a small hole both sides of the mini album and pass a lace or a baker twine. Leave an abundant amount of thread/lace/baker twine to be able to close the book correctly.

To decorate this mini book you can use all the stickers you can find in the kit. Besides, you can add paper clips, cards, thread and enamel dots. It's a super easy and fun to do it!

This is a lovely fun album… I hope you like this idea!

See you next time!
