Fall is officially here, and I couldn't wait to start working on a dedicated Autumn album using the stunning Pumpkins and Plaid collection. The colors in this line are absolutely spectacular; they immediately bring the cozy feel of the season to life. Working with these gorgeous patterns made jumping into this season's scrapbooking projects a complete joy right from the start.
One of my biggest takeaways from this project is a reminder that scrapbooking should not be complicated. I love making these smaller pages because they are fast and easy to assemble, taking very little time while still telling the story just as well as a large spread. You don't need hours of intricate crafting or complex layouts to capture a special moment; a simple, thoughtfully put-together mini page holds just as much heart and memory.
The embellishments in this collection were especially inspiring and naturally gave me some great ideas for the overall page designs. Layering the themed die cuts and accents helped guide where the photos and journaling should go without any guesswork. This is just the beginning of this project, and there will be many more pages created with this collection as I continue to fill my Autumn album!
