OUR HOME Mini Album by Andrea Lake
Hi Friends! I am Andrea and I am sharing a project made with a collection that has stolen my heart. The What’s Cookin’ collection by Simple Stories is to die for. I fell in love with every patterned paper and embellishments, as well as the color palette. I wanted to make a big project that would allow me to play with most of the products I received plus a few additional ones.
I started with a 9 ½” x 7’pre-made chipboard mini album base I got from my local Scrapbook Store. I used a few pieces of Color Vibe Cardstock to cover the front, back and inside of the album covers and finished decorating the front cover with a layer of patterned paper and my favorite Chipboard Frame. I used the “Home’ Layered sticker for my title along with some essential foam stickers. If you look closely behind the title, you’ll noticed I added a couple floral rub-ons and a trio of enamel dots.
This collection comes with a set of 4x6 recipe cards that I wanted to include. So I went ahead and created a pocket on the left inside cover to fit a Blush 4x6 Simple Stories Flipbook. Then, on the right side, I added a colorful metal ring system and created page bases using white Color Vibe Cardstock and adding some background pieces using patterned papers. This section of the album can be used to add photos, journaling, and even more recipes. Unfortunately, we did not receive the Foam stickers with our Design Team boxes, but that prompted me to play with all of the other goodies from this collection.
