I am delighted with the new "Simple Vintage Timeless" collection. It is a wonderful opportunity to look back on my wedding day.
It has been 17 years, and I can hardly believe everything we have experienced.
As a base, I love creating paper layers. This helps create a beautiful background and allows me to use the papers without fear of going overboard. For this, I used the following papers: "3x4 Elements" and two sheets of "Breathtaking" (front and back).
Stitching along the edges of the two smaller overlays is optional. I love the effect it creates and the added texture it brings to the layout.
I attached them over the "3x4 elements" paper using foam tape.
I wanted to use a layout that highlights the photos and the title separately. I love this effect, as it gives us a bit more space to add extra embellishments.
In this case, I placed the photos at the top and the title at the bottom.
I added the photos using thick layers of foam tape: one with three layers and the overlapping one with four. This helps create depth for the embellishments I placed beneath the photos, such as the "Floral Bits & Pieces" and "Journal Bits & Pieces."
I also chose to use elements found in the "Cardstock Stickers Basics" pack, a phrase from "Bits & Pieces," and lovely elements like cameras and lanterns from "Chipboard Pieces".
All layered with foam tape to add dimension. Around the embellishments, I added a mix I love, mini hearts and mini circles with flowers and decorative brads.
For the bottom section, where I placed the title, I created a base using "Rub-Ons" along with the phrase "collected moments."
On top of that, I added a tag from the "Journal Bits & Pieces" set and the title found in the "Chipboard Pieces."
To finish, I added the same mini elements used at the top, "Chipboards", "Foam Stickers" and "Decorative Brads."
