Good morning, friends! Nicole, here! I’m so excited to share my SNAP album I created using the Noteworthy collection. I thought this would be a great opportunity to share a little bit about myself throughout this album. The Noteworthy collection is perfect for documenting your favorite memories from the previous years or even documenting daily memories. Initially, I was going to create a memory planner type of album, but then I thought, I was going to use if for a little about “ME” album. I honestly had a lot of fun making this beauty.
I started out with a pocket page using a picture of me with my best friend, Mischelle. The “Snapshots of a Happy Life” sentiment is perfect for the main page. I added the flowers, brads, and chipboard “Noteworthy” stamp for fun. For the bottom half of the layout, I added the January card and embellished it with some washi tape, stickers, and a foam sticker to add dimension.
I flipped the page over and added a few more journaling cards and a photo of me with my son, Edward. I love this photo. He is my one and only and I absolutely LOVE this kid. Notice how I added a flower and some stickers in the top right-side of the picture. I kept it simple, focusing on the photo.
I absolutely love the floral print patterned paper…It’s so pretty. I didn’t want to cut it, but I’m glad I did because it looks so pretty, below the 4x6 photo of me with my hubby. I cut the tag from a sheet of patterned paper and added the “smile” foam sticker with a few brads. I love the brads, too.
Interactive pages are a challenge for me… but I played a little and I like this interactive page! I cut the journaling cards from the cut-apart sheet so that four cards were attached and then I folded it in half to mount down on the chipboard page. I created the “document” tab using the rub-ons. I LOVE RUB-ONS. So glad to see that Simple Stories carries them. Just wait until you see how I used them on a few other pages.
Here is the photo behind the main fold. This is my boy, Moxie. I’m not sure who I love the most…my son, hubby, or my dog… but my dog comes close! He doesn’t talk back, and he does what I ask. LOL
I decided to play with this page. I had these two photos and thought they totally work with the papers and embellishments. I used metal dies to create the border at the top and bottom of the layout. Can you spot the rub-ons I used? So fun!
Here’s a travel notebook size layout I added to the album. Meet, Toby! We rescued this guy about 7 years ago and he and Moxie are buds.
The paper pads fit nicely within the SNAP albums. I tore two patterns from the book and cut them in half and mounted them to the chipboard page. Next, I folded the dotted paper to create a divider and mounted that on the page to create a fun design. I tucked the photo behind the chipboard frame and added the chipboard, brad, and rub-ons to pull it all together.
I saved my favorite pocket page for last! I used lots of rub-ons on the journaling card and photos. This is my happy place! I hope you found this album inspiring. I had so much fun creating it and I can’t wait to add a few more pages to it throughout the year. Thank you for visiting today.
