Karlla here, and I'm so happy to share a new project with you.
I love creating backgrounds with overlays. They leave a beautiful look to the end result. Many know that I just love tall layouts, and this one was no different. The new collection "Trail Mix" is so amazing, and with so many delicate details. I'm obsessed!!
With the "6x8 Pad", I made three flags with different sizes. I made two more holes in each end of the flag and added a rope with a knot at the ends. I glued it to the base paper (Campfire Stores) at three different heights, with the help of the foam tape.
I love using specific spaces to add detail to the layout. Thinking about it, I used each flag with a small highlight, without taking away the main focus of them. Mixing elements and materials with different heights make these details super cute.
What made me even more passionate about this collection, is the delicacy. These colorful words bring a diversion to the title.
The wide variety of materials in the SS collections help us a lot to create these embellishments. One of my favorite details, is the junction of the "enamel dots with decorative brads".
